Well, I should have known it would be one of those weeks. This past weekend I enjoyed “The Deer Hunter” and “Kramer vs. Kramer” but due to work obligations I was unable to post my reaction to it as part of the “Streep Challenge.” I hope to post something on Saturday when things slow down a bit.
I apologize for the delay, but that’s what happens when one has real life obligations. Sigh.
Not a big deal in the general scheme of things, D.
Everyone that knows you is well aware that you have plenty of things on the go.
Let me just state for the record that I am greatly looking forward to having a lively discussion about Meryl’s work whenever you have time for it.
I understand that THE FRENCH LIEUTENANT’S WOMAN has yet to arrive at chez Porker. I’m really waiting with bated breath to hear what you have to say about it. I own a lot of films (oh yeah…) and there are only so many hours in the day. So I had almost forgotten how enraptured I was when I first saw that. Your opinion genuinely interests me.
I have the patience of a six year old on a massive sugar high. (As you probably know…) But some events are worth waiting for.
Onward and upward, D…
Hurry Dorothy, hurry! The hourglass is almost empty!
Oops, that’s Judy Garland, not Streep.
We anxiously but patiently await your appraisals, Ms. Porker.
Thanks for the encouragement, guys. It really has been crazy keeping up with work, but I think things may have calmed down a bit. So rather than making entries sporadically, I plan on publishing a big piece with my impressions of the 16 films. Maybe I’ll do two parts at the most . . . we’ll see.
Thanks again
